Common questions

How do I get an activation key?

Install NodeTV from the App Store, open it, and on the welcome screen tap Get an activation key. Enter your name and email; we email a key back within seconds. The key unlocks the app for one year, free, with no payment required.

I already have a key — where do I enter it?

On the welcome screen, tap I already have a key, paste the key, and you’re in. The same screen is reachable in one tap from any error state if the app loses your activation.

I reinstalled the app and lost my key

No problem. Email us from the same address you signed up with. We re-send your existing key — your year doesn’t reset and you don’t get penalised for switching phones.

A channel won’t play

NodeTV doesn’t host any streams — every channel is a live link to the broadcaster (DW, France 24, NHK, etc.). Sometimes broadcasters change their stream URLs, geo-restrict them, or take them offline for maintenance. If a channel has been broken for more than a few hours, email us the channel name and we’ll either repair the listing or remove it from the catalog.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings → Delete my account and confirm. Your activation row is wiped and your key is revoked. You can also request deletion by email — we fulfil within seven days.

How do I turn off analytics?

On first launch, iOS will show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt; tap Ask App Not to Track and we never pass an advertising identifier alongside our analytics. You can also turn analytics off entirely from Settings → Privacy inside the app.

I’m a rights holder and want a stream taken down

Email info@nodetvapp.com with: (1) the name of the work and rights you control, (2) the channel ID or name as it appears in the app, and (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder. We respond within 24 hours and remove infringing entries.
