Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and The Software Support LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“NodeTV”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and govern your use of the NodeTV mobile application (the “App”), the website at nodetvapp.com, and the backend service hosted at api.nodetvapp.com (collectively, the “Service”).

By installing, opening, activating, or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use NodeTV

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use NodeTV. Use of the Service must comply with the laws of your jurisdiction and the App Store / Google Play distribution platform rules.

2. The activation key

NodeTV is offered free of charge. To use the App you must request an activation key by submitting your name and email through the in-app form.
Each activation key is valid for one (1) year from issue. There is no automatic renewal. If you want a new key after expiry, request another at no cost.
Keys are personal to the requester. Sharing your key with another person does not give that person any rights against us.
We may revoke a key without refund if it is used in violation of these Terms (for example, mass key requests, automated abuse, attempts to access the admin interface, etc.).

3. The streams

NodeTV is an aggregator. The Service points your device at live streams that are published publicly by the broadcasters themselves (for example, DW, France 24, NHK World, Euronews, RTVE, PBS). When you watch a channel:

Your device communicates directly with the broadcaster’s servers.
We do not host, copy, mirror, transcode, or rebroadcast the stream.
The broadcasters are not affiliated with us. Their names and logos remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for attribution.
A broadcaster may change, geo-restrict, throttle, or end its public stream at any time and we have no control over that.

4. What you may not do

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the API key bundled in the App, except to the extent that such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
Bypass, disable, or interfere with security or rate-limiting features;
Submit false or fraudulent information when requesting an activation key;
Use the Service to access streams in ways the broadcaster has explicitly forbidden in its own terms;
Use automated means (bots, scrapers, headless clients) to request activation keys, contact the API, or harvest channel data;
Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to the Service or any part of it;
Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any third party, including the broadcasters whose streams we point at;
Use the Service in any country, or by any person, where such use is prohibited by U.S. export control law or sanctions.

5. Rights-holder takedowns

If you are a rights holder and you believe a stream listed in the catalog is infringing, please email info@nodetvapp.com with identification of the work, the channel ID in the App, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder. We will respond within 24 hours and remove the relevant entry where appropriate. Repeat infringement claims will be tracked and may result in permanent removal of an entire broadcaster from the catalog.

6. Accounts and deletion

Your “account” with us is the activation row tied to your email. To delete it, open Settings → Delete my account in the App, or email info@nodetvapp.com from the same address. Deletion is final: your key is revoked, your name and email are removed from our database, and your local activation state is wiped on next launch. We retain accounting/security logs as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Service availability

We make a best-effort attempt to keep the Service running but we do not commit to any specific uptime. The Service is provided to you “as is” and “as available”. Stream availability depends on the broadcaster and is outside our control.

8. Intellectual property

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and use the App on devices that you own or control, solely for personal non-commercial use. We retain all other rights. The App is licensed, not sold.

Trademarks, broadcaster names, and broadcaster logos shown in the App are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and attribution only.

9. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR BROADCASTER STREAM WILL BE AVAILABLE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE SOFTWARE SUPPORT LLC, ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, OR CONTRACTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (WHICH WILL ORDINARILY BE ZERO BECAUSE NODETV IS FREE) OR (B) USD $50.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Software Support LLC from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party arising out of (i) your breach of these Terms, (ii) your violation of applicable law, or (iii) your violation of the rights of a third party in connection with your use of the Service.

12. Apple-specific terms (iOS users)

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge:

These Terms are between you and The Software Support LLC, not Apple.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance and support for the App.
If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, who will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
Apple is not responsible for any product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to applicable legal requirements, or claims arising under consumer-protection laws.
If a third party claims the App or your possession and use of the App infringes intellectual property rights, The Software Support LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, with the right to enforce them against you.

13. Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the App on next launch and posted here, and the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will move forward. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. You may terminate your relationship with us at any time by deleting your account in the App. Sections 8–13 survive termination.
